The Jubilee exhibition has been well received and will run until the end of June. The museum would like to thank everyone who kindly loaded items for the display which have contributed to its success. Year 5 children from Mere School visited the exhibition and had a questionnaire to complete, the children enjoyed their visit and asked questions about the display, particularly the photos of the Queen visiting Mere in 1952.
The next exhibition will be reflecting on the history of the schools in Mere, particularly relevant as Mere School is currently undergoing changes. If anyone would like to record memories of their time at school over the years it would be great to add them to the exhibition.
