The wrought iron sign for The Old Ship Hotel. This was made by Kingston Avery, a local blacksmith and clockmaker of the 18th century.

The former Walnut Tree Inn, Clements Lane, in 1990. It was demolished to make way for a new housing development but a new Walnut Tree Inn (the third on the site) was built closer to the road frontage.
