Thank you to everyone who supported our Big Event in October, making it such a brilliant success! Lots of names were added to photographs (this was a huge hit!), two stories were recorded (so far) about Waltons, and we heard a fascinating talk from paper conservator Sophie Coles. It was exciting to see work being done on our Rutter Scrapbooks.
Our Waltons exhibition will continue for quite a while yet, but we plan to continue to make the photograph-naming sheets available in the Museum so that you can continue to help us identify Mere people. More prepared photographs may well appear from time to time, so don’t stop popping in!
