The latest exhibition, The Rutter Scrapbooks, is the collection of posters and documents which the Friends of Mere Museum raised funds to have conserved. It took the best part of a year for the work to be done and has taken a long time to catalogue at the Museum.
Some of the posters are unique and the collection by Dr Farley Rutter covers the end of the 19th C and the early part of the 20th C. There are so many items, that over the course of the exhibition, they will be changed and updated. So please do visit the museum more than once!
Hopefully, you will also spot some changes in the displays and the boards on the back wall have been cleaned and now have spotlights on them.
