Our current exhibition is celebrating the creation of the Mere Manor Youth Band in 1966.
This was started by Adrienne and Bernard Howell as a way of introducing youngsters to musical instruments. The collection belongs to Adrienne and this is the first time it has been shown publicly. Were you in the Band? Come and along and see if you are in the photos. There are photos showing the various tours abroad which the band took part in and also local events. There is a collection of items which were given to Adrienne by their hosts in other countries.
