The Jubilee exhibition has been well received and will run until the end of June. The museum would like to thank everyone who kindly loaded items for the display which have contributed to its success. Year 5 children from Mere School visited the exhibition and had a questionnaire to complete, the children enjoyed their visit
In June our exhibition will be of a Royal Theme and if anyone has any Royal memorabilia relating to Mere which they are willing to loan the museum for the duration then please do contact me. It will all be behind lock and key. We would also like to request stories and memories of life

We are very pleased to announce that our new exhibition titled, ‘Those were the days’ is now live in the museum. This exhibition explores the postcards of Mere. Some of them date from the 19th century and feature many different aspects of Mere. We welcome new members who will find application forms at the Museum.
