Since July 2021, we have been able to access the Museum again and prepare exhibitions. Our first one Memories and Mementoes was well received and featured items from different categories which do not always feature in themed exhibitions. Our new exhibition “Those were the days……A History of Mere through Postcards” is now up and ready
We are very pleased to announce that our new exhibition titled, ‘Those were the days’ is now live in the museum. This exhibition explores the postcards of Mere. Some of them date from the 19th century and feature many different aspects of Mere. We welcome new members who will find application forms at the Museum.

The AGM of the Friends of the Museum will happen on Tuesday November 2nd at 18.30 in the United Reformed Church. Everybody is very welcome to attend, and there will be wine and nibbles after the meeting. We hope to see as many as possible! You can find more about the Friends of Mere Museum
