These pictures show our latest exhibition on the Union Workhouse in Mere. This was presented before the Covid closure and will be still up when the museum opens again. Our current exhibition is titled, ‘Made in Mere’. It showcases a large variety of artefacts that owe their existence to the diligence, toil and enthusiasm of residents of Mere over a couple of centuries. Items range from furniture (small!) to trains (also small!), from toys to candles and posters to pots. Please come and visit!
