The Friends of Mere Museum (FoMM) objectives are:

• raising funds for the benefit of the Museum by means of events such as plant sales, quizzes, film shows, raffles, talks and other entertainments
• funding ways to increase access across the wider community to exhibitions at the museum
• helping from time to time with Museum projects under the direction of the Curator
