News & Events

This month sees the new exhibition in support of the Carnival in September. Do come along and revisit the carnivals of the last 100 years in Mere. You may be in one of the photos the exhibition will be open from 30th June and if you recognize yourself or someone, please do let us know of the names.

We have had many visitors to the museum recently including one from New Zealand, John Mills who brought the museum a snuff box belonging to Ernest Mills of Chetcombe Farm. Also Mr Jackson, who was the pharmacist form many years in Mere and his wife. They brought some  very interesting items for the Museum.

Moving forward looks very positive for the future and there is great appreciation for all the support of everyone, including the Friends who fundraise.
