The weather (at the time of writing) has suddenly become spring-like and the Friends’ famous and popular plant sale is nearly here. The latest exhibition, The Rutter Scrapbooks, is the collection of posters and documents which the Friends of Mere Museum raised funds to have conserved. It took the best part of a year for the work to be done and has taken a long time to catalogue at the Museum. Some of the posters are unique

Our current exhibition is celebrating 50 years of Mere Museum. The flat showcase cabinet is displaying some of the first 85 objects received by the museum. The Jubilee exhibition has been well received and will run until the end of June. The museum would like to thank everyone who kindly loaded items for the display which have contributed to its success.
